What we are about at Grace Bible Chapel

Spiritual Growth

At Grace Bible Chapel, we are a Non-denominational, bible believing church. Our mission is to learn the teachings of Jesus Christ in context. We conduct service slightly different than the traditional church. We encourage you to ask questions.

Prayer

  • Ephesians 6:18:And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
  • Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus"
  • 1 Chronicles 16:11: "Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always"
  • Jeremiah 33:3: "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know"
  • Colossians 4:2: "Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving"
  • Hebrews 5:7: "In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence"

Relationships

Ephesians 4:32 "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

The scripture here teaches us about the importance of kindness, compassion, and forgiveness in relationships, drawing a parallel with the forgiveness we receive in Christ.

Salvation

Jesus is returning as the righteous judge. Are you ready to meet Him?   Many believe that they are saved so why  change?  They believe because God is love, that they can continue their worldly lifestyle.   Let's not forget that God is Holy.   In order to to be saved, He has to know you.

Scripture is very clear concerning salvation. Ephesians 2 says; “1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others..”

Acts 2:38,39 says:  Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”

Repentance simply means to stop doing what you are doing and go the other way, and it is continual! Believe that Jesus is God come in the flesh. To be "baptized" is to be immersed, and that immersion is in the body of believers. That is your identifier. God promises to give you His Holy Spirit to help you mature in faith.

Scripture says that God is long-suffering because he doesn't want anyone to perish. He has made a way for you through His son Jesus Christ. Romans 5:8 says: but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

To fully understand that God is love, you must understand that we are wicked in our heart and deserve judgment and eternal punishment.

Jeremiah 17:9 - The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?
Romans 3:23 - "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." and Romans 5:8 says "but while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus is God's love. He is the ONLY way.

The world was judged at the crucifixion. God made a way by His son to justify us by His grace through faith in Jesus Christ. You are either living under His judgement or His Grace.

John 3:36 says:

"Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him."

Whoever believes in Jesus Christ is not condemned but is loved, and their sins are forgiven and they have eternal life.  Commit your life to Him today.
