Congress Food Rescue

The Congress Food Rescue is an endeavor we started to get food to deserving, needy families. We are not a food bank since there are already two food banks here. We are an emergency food storage facility located at Tenderfoot Hill Park. We accept donated foods from Grocery stores, organizations, and individuals in order to deliver food supplies to those who are homebound or handicapped. Our service is an on-call, as needed basis. We've acquired commercial freezers and refrigerators as well as shelving to store food items. We'll create a database of those in need which will help us ensure consistency in our deliveries. 

Congress Food Rescue is covered under our 501(c)3, C - Point Campus Inc. which is our community outreach non-profit. Our building is leased from the county and our facility is temperature controlled. Our objective is to serve the Congress community not only in word but also in deed.
